Bobbie is a freelance financial writer, mother of two teens, and community volunteer.
Her career has included tenures in investment banking, buy- and sell-side equity research, and marketing management for some of the financial industry’s most prominent firms. Bobbie’s skills as a freelance writer have won her numerous clients including Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Janus Henderson, Bear Stearns, J.P. Morgan Chase and AIG.
Prior to becoming a freelance writer in 2001, Bobbie was a senior marketing manager with Citigroup. Before joining Citigroup, she was a corporate finance associate with the Chase Manhattan Bank. In this role, Bobbie participated on deal teams within the firm’s asset backed securities group in New York and multinationals group in London. Prior to this, Bobbie was a marketing manager with Chase’s capital markets trading business and an assistant vice president in Chase’s corporate communications department. She received a B.A. in economics from Bucknell University in 1988, and an MBA in finance and marketing from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at NYU in 1996.
Bobbie and her husband, Douglas, moved to Denver in 2006 with their two children, Benjamin and Emily, for lifestyle reasons. She has served on the board of the Cherry Creek School District’s Parent Information Network (PIN) for the past ten years, including three years as co-chair. Bobbie spends her free time playing tennis, bike riding and enjoying the great state of Colorado.
