My first job was working in a fast-food restaurant where one day I was the only person to show up to work. I considered leaving but I decided I wanted to stay and when the owner found out what I had done, she expressed her gratitude for my dependability. This taught me that people depend on us to honor our commitments and we must do them despite inconveniences.
